Throughout his early career, he has established an impressive record, earning multiple accolades and titles that reflect his skill, perseverance, and determination.

Originally from Bradford, Amar has achieved notable success at both local and regional levels, securing four Yorkshire Championship titles. These accomplishments underline his position as an influential young athlete within the region and demonstrate the disciplined approach he brings to both training and competition.

In addition to his Yorkshire achievements, Amar has won three Hull Box Cups, further highlighting his competitiveness, resilience, and ability to perform successfully in challenging and highly competitive environments.

Amar made a winning start to his new 70kg campaign on 25 September 2026, securing a unanimous decision victory at Haliwell ABC’s in-house show in Bolton.
A new weight. A new challenge. Same ambition. Another victory.

Mentoring & Youth Development

Beyond his achievements in the ring, Amar is actively involved in mentoring young people within his community. He regularly offers guidance and support in the gym and boxing ring, using his own experiences to encourage younger athletes to develop confidence, discipline, responsibility, and resilience.

A key message in Amar’s mentoring is the importance of self-discipline, personal development, and safety. Through his involvement with young boxers, he seeks to help others understand that boxing is not only about physical strength and competition, but also about character, focus, respect, and personal growth.

Rotary Community & Humanitarian Work

Amar’s commitment to making a positive difference extends well beyond boxing. Alongside his sporting ambitions and professional interests, he is an active and dedicated young member of Rotary International, associated with the Bradford/Clayton area. Through his involvement with Rotary, Amar contributes to initiatives supporting the organisation’s wider mission of community service, humanitarian assistance, and positive social impact both locally and internationally.

His humanitarian involvement includes supporting relief efforts for flood-affected nations, where he has contributed to initiatives involving the delivery of essential supplies, fundraising, and the coordination of aid for communities affected by devastating flooding abroad.

Amar has also played a role in helping organise and deliver humanitarian support to war-affected regions, contributing to efforts focused on providing essential supplies, shelter, and care packages for displaced families and children. His participation in these initiatives reflects a strong sense of social responsibility and a willingness to support vulnerable communities during times of crisis.

Through his Rotary involvement and humanitarian work, Amar demonstrates that his ambitions extend beyond personal achievement. Whether in the boxing ring, the gym, or through community and humanitarian initiatives, he remains committed to discipline, service, and positively influencing the lives of those around him.
